day trip to corpus christi
You would need a car to get to the coast.
day trip to corpus christi
It is worth renting a car to get out of the city..I think you would enjoy Port Aransas more though...It is a 2.5-3 hour ride...
You could take a bus to Corpus but it would be a hassle, it would be better to drive yourself.
thanks to everyone who replied to my posting.we will have to rethink our day trips.
The Texas coast is okay but a distant third to Florida and California beaches..when in TX try a Whataburger hamburger...the chain started in Corpus
You would need to hire a car. Is worth the trip though and very easy drive...less than three hours and Interstate Highway (37) all the way. If you choose to visit our city or the area let us know and we can help with suggestions. Enjoy San Antonio.
thankyou for your reply.if we need any advice i will be in touch thanks
Hi Gehrig,
We are planning a day trip to corpus christi with 2 16 year old girls. Any ideas on what to do in Corpus christi, other than see the ocean would be great . We would love to see some dolphins.
SeaWorld is your best bet for dolphins. You%26#39;ll be able to see them up close there.
In Corpus, there are some good museums, and also good seafood. You can go see mockups of Columbus%26#39; ships, head for a wildlife reserve (depending on the time of year -- the birds are migratory)), or have a great meal under the causeway to the beach.
It%26#39;s actually easy to fill a few days down there.
Here is a website for Corpus Christi so you can see what they have to offer. There is a boat that goes out to see the dolphins. www.corpuschristicvb.org
It may be fun to go to the Texas State Aquarium www.texasstateaquarium.org they also have the Museum of Science %26amp; History www.ccmuseum.com
You may also want to go to Port Aransas which is a fun beach to go to. www.portaransas.org
