super 8 motel near IAH

just wondering if this hotel would be alright to stay at, it seems cheap, is the humble area a decent area to stay in? any information would be great, just need one night hotels for a lay over and will be going to an astro game. thanks.

I am sure I pass this motel all the time but cannot place it. All in all Humble is okay and from what I can gather most hotels / motels close to IAH are okay even though the area closer to Greenspoint maybe not. So short answer - I think you would be okay for one night. However, you are about 30 minutes away from the Astros stadium.

By the time you take a taxi to town for the ball game, and then back again, you might be better off staying somewhere downtown. Check this out:

You can walk to the park from the Inn, it is across the street. There are some good walkable bars in that area, including ';B.U.S';--Bar at Union Station.

There is a shuttle to downtown, available from the airport, as well, but it would not be available at night, after a game.

thanks, but i have an early flight the next morning so i want to stay close to the airport. just take a taxi back at night.

There are 4 Super 8%26#39;s within a short distance of IAH - 2 of which are in Humble. So not sure of which one exactly. Typically these motels are safe and you would be okay - however would not recommend on going for a stroll at night.
