Fun In Galveston?

The first week in August we will be vacationing

in Galveston with 3 year old grandson and 25 year old

couple. What can we do? How is Duck Tour?

Where should we swim? We have a place to staff with

some friends.

Fun In Galveston?

The 3 year old will be easier to entertain than the couple, in my experience. Pack him to the beach with t-shirt, hat, loads of sunscreen, shovel and bucket and you%26#39;re set. Show him how to dig around in the sand, build, chase crabs and he will be entertained no end. He%26#39;ll love the duck tour as well. If you are staying with local friends they can probably point you to the nearest/best beach. My kids liked the ferry ride and it was free. Moody Gardens might entertain everyone, most of the other museums would probably tax a 3 year old. Unless he is in to planes, then try the Lone Star Flight Museum. Schlitterbahn. Rainforest Cafe on Seawall is kiddie themed. Baywatch Dolphin %26amp; Harbor Tours might be fun, kids usually enjoy the dolphins. Think there is some sort of paddle wheeler but it%26#39;s pricey. Maybe you can babysit and the couple can go check out the nightlife? Lots of clubs, pubs, etc.
