My son graduates from Airforce Basic next week.
Just talked to my son. He says ';Mom, I am so hungry for crab,shrimp,or clams. Do you think we can get some when you are here?';
Well, all this time I have been looking into Mexican Restaurants and Steakhouses. Never thought about a seafood one. Any good reccomendations? We do have a kitchen in our room so maybe even a good place to buy some to make ourselves. I guess a Red Lobster will have to do if all else fails.

Seafood in San Antonio??If you were here 25 year ago, I would say Christies. Now, I would have to say Sea Island. If you dont mind a short 3 hours drive to Corpus/Rcokport/Port A, you can get very fresh and very good seafood.
Might also try Bass Pro Shop (the menu is limited, more a snacks and drinks place to me.
Seafood in San Antonio??Forgot, I would go to Sea Island over Red Lobster any day of the week.
As in most cities, unless you are close to the ocean you will be getting frozen seafood..There are exceptions but you will pay for it..In SA there is Wildfish Grill and Pesca at the Watermark..For the best of both worlds head to Pappasitos for their rock lobster and beef fajita combo with a grilled shrimp appetizer..The fajitas IMHO are the best in town..For some generic seafood there is Joe%26#39;s..Sea Island is good but is mainly fried...
There is Water Street Oyster Bar on Broadway which has excellent seafood or Pesca on the River at the Watermark Hotel or Sandbar 152 E. Pecan St. %26amp; El 7 Mares at 3831 W. Commerce St %26amp; another fantastics place is Clear Springs at 606 W. Afton Oaks Blvd hopes this helps you out.
Have a fantastic visit in SA %26amp; congrats on your son graduation from Air force Basic Training.!!!!!
Pappadeaux%26#39;s about a block NE of North Star Mall on the Loop 410 access road is pretty good and is another option for seafood.
lLife2Live Pappasitos is a Mexican Food Restaurant out on 281, Pappadaeux is the seafood place on 410 near the airport.
At the higher end, there is a new wildfish on the north side. Very good, but not cheap...

Pruske..I know the difference..Last time I checked, lobster and shrimp qualified as seafood..Pappasitos serves both as well as great fajitas..I ate there last week..I was offering the family choices in case one did not prefer seafood..
1Life2Live sorry I thought you got the 2 confuse, my mistake!!!!!! You are correct.!!!!!
