Hello, we are going to spend 2 nights, 3 days next week in Galveston. Our desire is to see and hear the water and walk the beach (coast), plus visit Moody Gardens. Any input would be apreciated. We would like to stay with a water view.

San Luis, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Comfort Suites or La Quinta. These are all located on the Seawall, fairly short drive to Moody Gardens.
