Hotel recommendation near White Rock Lake/ Botanical Garden

Hi all,

We are planning weekend trip to Dallas and like to visit White Rock Lake and Arboretum area.

Any suggestions for hotels? We are not sure of the area and want to make sure that hotel is in good area.

We are planning to book by priceline and need to know which of Know/Richardson-Plano/Mesquite area is good one?

I live in that area and there are no hotels in the immediate area - I have family in town this weekend and I have them staying at a friend%26#39;s guesthouse...otherwise they%26#39;s be kind of far for an easy visit.

Hotel Palomar would be the best one for location.
