Solo business travel dining

I am looking for a mid-range local place I can eat at alone without feeling weird. Trying to avoid just going to Chili%26#39;s or Olive Garden like I usually do when I travel alone for work. Any suggestions? I will have a car, so it could be anywhere.

sort of depends on what you want and where you%26#39;ll be staying...do you want a local dive...akin to Chris Madrid burgers or Casbeers or do you want Mexican Food etc.?

Definitely mexican or maybe bbq, something local.

What part of SA are you staying?

I%26#39;m staying near Lackland but dont mind driving some.

Look up Rudy%26#39;s BBQ on 1604 by seaworld.

Just looked and the original Rudy%26#39;s is #1 on Tripadvisor, but the one I said on 1604 is much closer to where you are staying.

In that area I like Acadiana Cafe http://www.acadianacafe.com/ Rudy%26#39;s is another great choice

Try Tiago%26#39;s its not exactly tex-mex more mex, great shrimp cocktail, you may want to go easy on the pepppers, maade table side. The house shakers of drink are two glasses worth for the price on one most other places. The closest to you is 151 %26amp; 410.

Hope you get to go downtown to the Riverwalk which is very beautiful. You could have dinner or lunch there at Boudro%26#39;s www.boudros.com %26amp; have the guacamole prepared tableside with a Prickly Pear Margarita or try Biga on the Banks www.biga.com along the riverwalk. For some good original Tex Mex food you may want to try Los Barrios www.losbarrios1.com I also do agree about Acadiana Café. Tom Ribs has good BBQ, Earl Abels for excellent Fried Chicken %26amp; yummy pies www.earlabelssa.com

How far do you want to travel from where you are staying????? Do you want it to be near by or you just want good places to eat in SA.So many!!!!!!
