Lunch spot

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a lunch spot that serves Mexican or Tex-Mex on the River Walk or Market Square. And if you could tell me why you recommend a particular place, I would appreciate it so I could get a feel for these places. Like great margaritas, great atmosphere, great people watching, etc.

A great lunch spot with Tex Mex that has excellent Margaritas, fun atmosphere + a great place to people watch then it has to be La Margarita www.lamargarita.com so many great choices in Margaritas plus the food is very good. If you get the fajitas + a margarita it will be the perfect fit in SA, it%26#39;s in the Market Square area.

On the Riverwalk you have the Rio Rio Cantina which has a great view of the river %26amp; meet all your other criteria as well. http://rioriocantina.com

Another good place but doesn%26#39;t have the Tex Mex criteria but does have very good food is Boudro%26#39;s www.boudros.com a must is the guacamole prepared tableside %26amp; a prickly pear margarita %26amp; a beautiful view of the river that meets all of your other criteria.

Have a fantastic time in SA %26amp; a great meal.!!!

Those recommendations sound great. Someone at work whose been to SA also mentioned La Margarita and Boudro%26#39;s. Now the hard part will be choosing which one.

River Walk - Mexican Manhattan

IMO they are both good choices it all depends on your taste, I gave you the website so you can check out the menu to see which appeal more to your taste, I know they both do!!!! LOL Just wait %26amp; see which sounds better that day.

RW Tex Mex is mediocre. The 3 places at Market are somewhat better and have quite a bit of atmosphere. MiTierra is 24/7 and decorated in Christmas year round. Pico De Gallo under the freeway from Market Square is more local...very colorful.

Agree with the above... Most Tex-mex on the RW are not really all that great.

La Margarita, though, is quite good. That%26#39;s where my vote would lie...
