Non-Landry Restaurants in Kemah area post-Ike

What do you recommend? We like seafood and are intrigued by some of the mentions (i.e. Sundance Cafe, Classic Cafe) in previous postings and on b4u eat %26amp; citysearch. The possibility of Greek seafood at Skipper%26#39;s Fine Greek Cuisine is also something we would look forward to. Yet it seems as if some places (i.e. Topwater Grill) haven%26#39;t re-opened.

Yet...if we%26#39;re tired from the trip and the day, which boardwalk restaurant would you recommend, if any?

At the end of the day all boardwalk restaurants are good as long as you order something local (seafood from the gulf). Pappas and Landry%26#39;s own all the restaurants (as far as I know) and in some cases cooked in the same kitchen. It is a nice place to relax and have a meal.

Friends have given good marks to Bakkhus (maybe Baccus), a Greek place mainly, and also Joe Lee%26#39;s, a long established fried seafood place.

Also check Lance%26#39;s Turtle Club - Has a good web site and is a fun place with bands and the like.

I would go to Outriggers Seafood Grill %26amp; Oyster Bar in Seabrook, right under the 146 bridge across from Kemah. Very casual on the water with boat slips, not a chain, good cold beer, shrimp tacos are really good, they also have crawfish. On the Boardwalk I would recommend the Aquarium or the original Landrys.
