Rodeo????

I am visiting Dallas the end of this month and would love to experience a live rodeo. Unfortunately, Mesquite Rodeo is closed for renovations during my visit and the Ft. Worth Stockyards Rodeo is having a special event not open to outsiders. Can anyone suggest another rodeo?

There%26#39;s a North Texas High School Assoc. rodeo finals being held at Will Rogers Coliseum. Last weekend in May. It is not a private event. You can get tickets on ticketmaster...a bargain at $10.

Are you sure the rodeo is closed still? I live behind the Mesquite Rodeo and it%26#39;s going on every weekend. It opened back up in May. It does only go on Friday and Saturday nights.

The May 9 DMN article on the renovation states that hte Friday and Saturday evening dates for May have been canceled so that the renovation work can take place.

Billy Bob%26#39;s is actually a fun little rodeo for what it is. And it%26#39;s only a few dollars added to the entrance fee for the venue. You pay separately when you enter the rodeo, or that%26#39;s how they used to do it. I haven%26#39;t been there for a couple of years.

Billy Bob%26#39;s has bullriding, not a rodeo. The Stockyards Rodeo is on Friday/Saturday in the Cowtown Coliseum. Sorry you will miss it, lovelyladybug.
