Safe to walk at night from Westin to Wyndham St. Anthony

Do you know how safe it is to walk at night from the Westin Riverwalk hotel to the Wyndham St. Anthony? I%26#39;m a pregnant lady that will be walking with my husband around 11pm at night. Will that be considered a dangerous walk? We have heard there are a lot of homeless people hanging out around the Wyndham.

If this is not safe, do you recommend any parking suggestions? We are hoping not to spend lots of $$ parking though...

I would suggest walking one block further east to Presa and then walk to the Wyndham. Navarro is a major one way street towards Wyndham ..you can avoid the homeless who are generally west of the Wyndham.

In general, I feel safer downtown than I do in the rest of SA...plenty of park police, bicycle cops, other tourists etc....

Downtown is pretty safe just have your wits with you %26amp; know your surroundings %26amp; you%26#39;ll be safe. The Homeless people may ask for money but don%26#39;t really bother you cause of the police nearby.
