My husband, myself, son%26#39;s girlfriend, %26amp; son%26#39;s best friend will be going to SA for his graduation from BMT next month. Most of the daytime hours are already planned due to either the events on base or things our son would like to do while off base. I just realized that we are going to have hours to ourselves after our son has to report back to base. DUH! I had not given any thought to this so my question is what are some things we can do in the evening in SA from 8 pm till about 10 or 11 pm. Facts: we are not big partiers but could enjoy a little nite life, son%26#39;s best friend is not 21 yrs old, dont want to do the regular tourist stuff we will be doing with our son on Friday and Saturday, traveling a short distance might be ok if to enjoy something we might never do again or not have back home, will be there June 10th thru 14th. Thanks for your help!

If you enjoy jazz and good food, go to The Landing on the Riverwalk. Outdoor dining, or just an appetizer and a drink, live jazz, and a wonderful ambiance. You can sit and enjoy the music, then stroll the Riverwalk. Highly recommended by two people who hit The Landing every time we are in San Antonio!
Are you staying downtown????
If so maybe just hanging out on the Riverwalk or Rivercenter Mall or fun place like Howl at the Moon.
www.howlatthemoon.com go to the Market Square area www.marketsquaresa.com or visit La Cantera shopping area very beautiful scenery. www.theshopatlacantera.com
I also agree about checking out the Folklife Festival it%26#39;s a lot of fun %26amp; lots to do.
Wow! thanks for all the suggestions. we are staying in a loft ';near'; the riverwalk but will also have a car. will look into the suggestions and see what fits us best. the festival looks great, being from illinois it sounds like fun to see all the different cultures in the area. thanks again. 21 days and counting.
