My husband and I plan on going to a Cowboys game over Thanksgiving. We%26#39;ve never been to Texas before. We are going to stay from Weds to Sat. Would you suggest we stay in Arlington or Dallas? I don%26#39;t know much about either place. We are in our early 30%26#39;s and like seeing the sights, visiting bars/pubs, etc.

Really? Why would you suggest there? Like I said, I don%26#39;t know much about Texas so I%26#39;m not sure what%26#39;s in Fort Worth.
Arlington is between Fort Worth and Dallas. Getting there from either Dallas or FW is about the same.
Fort Worth is a smaller city and easier to navigate. It has a very walkable downtown, mainly Sundance Square, with bars/restaurants/muisc venues as well as a variety of hotels. The Stockyards is another area that is fun with fun shopping and music along with places to eat and drink. There are some terrific museums in the Cultural District plus new developments along 7th St.
If you look at the FW forum, you will see several threads about what to see, where to go, what to eat. Post back if you want specific recommendations. Fort Worth is a fun and interesting place. That%26#39;s not to say Dallas and Arlington aren%26#39;t as well- just a different perspective.
If you want to visit Dallas to see some of the sites, it is not a difficult drive, especially on a holiday weekend.
