Customer Service at Arrowhead Resort

If you are looking for customer service, follow-up and professionalism, look elsewhere. This is a very small (tiny) establishment and as such they are able to offer limited options. I was charged almost $900 for NOT being able to make it for my originally planned stay (family reunion). Luckily, my CC reversed some of the charges. I would look elsewhere for large groups.

This is exactly the kind of tourist who causes all of us to pay more for our vacations and weekend getaways. Skipping out on your obligation then fighting your credit card bill? How does that make this a bad place to stay?

We have had many great family reunions at various places around Lake Whitney. Most of the ';resorts'; i.e. fishing camps and cabins in the Lake Whitney area are individually owned and are by no stretch of the imgination luxurious but offer unique amenities not found at the local Marriott. Because they are individually owned, they don%26#39;t operate like a chain motel/hotel. Although we have never stayed at Arrowhead, all of these places clearly state their cancellation policies. One can%26#39;t expect these places to handle last minute cancellations for a large group. Not saying that this is what happened in this case.
