My husband and 2 teens, ages 13 and 15, will be in San Antonio area at the end of June. All 4 of us love water parks. I%26#39;m wondering if it%26#39;s worth going to Six Flags. I saw a promo on-line for 4 tickets for $99 which seems like a deal.
I don%26#39;t see a lot reviews on the water park area of the park. Anyone been and think it%26#39;s worth admission? I know the food/beverages will be expensive too.
Any comments would be appreciated!
Six Flags Fiesta Texas water park - worth the $$$$Six Flags is your typical regional Amusement Park. Not my cup of tea, but your teens should love it if they like roller coasters and such. The water park is decent, has a couple of ';thrill'; rides (big drops) and a lazy river. On busy days can get crowded. Food and drink - over priced, captive audience but what you going to do.
If you%26#39;re into water parks then Schliterbahn is a MUST. In addition to being the best park in the US you can also bring your own picnic. Very unusual for a park of any kind.
I also recommend tubing the Comal or Guadalupe rivers for a real South Texas experience.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas water park - worth the $$$$A second for Schlitterbahn. There is nothing else like it in North America, maybe not the world.
Six Flags and Sea World have decent water parks, but if you add the two together, it%26#39;s still probably less than Schlitterbahn.
Six Flags %26amp; SeaWorld water park is very nice, the kids love it there cause you have the best of both worlds the waterpark + the shows %26amp; ridges. That is a great promo 4 tickets For $99. Where did you get it??? I have some family coming %26amp; they would love to get a deal like that that an average of $25 a person where can you go that cheap especially a Theme Park? All I have to say is WOW!!!!!
Besides Schlitterbahn which is in New Braunfels %26amp; not in SA. In SA we also have Splashtown www.splashtownsa.com which is a fun water park.
Since your family like water areas you may want to consider staying at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort they have a 4 acre water playground. www.hillcountry.hyatt.com %26amp; it%26#39;s very close to SeaWorld.
If you are just going to Fiesta Texas for the Waterpark only, it not worth it. Go to Schliterbahn. If you want rides and a water park, then that a great deal.
