A couple or girlfriends and I are going to Dallas for May 1st-3rd just to get away and have a ladies weekend. I am unsure of what nitelife is the best in dallas much less where/how to find it. We were thinking about Le%26#39;Meridien hotel across from the Galleria Mall, but I didnt see many options for nighte life in that area. Can anyone help direct me to great Nightlife in the area??
Thanks

The usual night life haunts are the West End, Deep Ellum, and lower Greenville. Would depend entirely upon what exactly you are looking for in nightlife.

Uptown/Knox-Henderson is another area with bars/restaurants/nightlife. Here%26#39;s a link that gives a brief explanation.

Would recommend Uptown area. Several hotel locations are around that area.
Lower Greenville would be your best bet if you%26#39;re adventuring into Dallas. West End %26amp; Deep Ellum have been dead for a few years now.
Somewhere Uptown would be best - there%26#39;s not a lot going on in the Galleria area. Check out The W Hotel they have pretty cool rooms and often have deals if you pre-pay. Though The W isn%26#39;t really considered ';Uptown'; it%26#39;s very close. There is also The Crescent and if you stay in the Uptown area there is a free trolley.
Also the Knox/Henderson area is great for nightlife.
I was wondering if someone could tell me how far Uptown is from the Omni Mandalay Las Calinas in Irving/Dallas. Myself and two girlfriends are staying here May 15-17 for a girls getaway weekend and we are also wondering what nightlife in Uptown consists of. We like live bands especially blues, but are open to anything but country. Any help would be appreciated.
sassy - You might like Balcony Club in the Lakewood neighborhood (go up the stairs between Lakewood Theater and Matt%26#39;s).

It%26#39;s a 20-30 minute drive from your hotel, but sounds like what you are looking for.
thank you
